Mission

Culture Kitchen uses food as a means for cultural exchange, creating a community that empowers women in and outside the kitchen. We employ lower-income immigrant women, who are masters of cooking their family’s ethnic cuisines to teach food lovers who are not only interested in learning to cook ethnic cuisines, but also in the stories behind the food. Culture Kitchen is a means of supplemental income for our instructors, but more importantly bridges social, cultural and socio-econmic borders, proving that much more than food gets made in the kitchen.
