Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
- 4 medium tomatoes, diced
- 2 lemons
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Step 1 Peel off the first few layers off the lettuce and discard. Thoroughly wash the lettuce by cutting the head in half and rinsing under water.
- Step 2 Slice the lettuce into strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Step 3 Wash the tomatoes and dice them into 1/4 inch pieces.
- Step 4 Combine the lettuce and the tomatoes.
- Step 5 Juice 2 lemons, making sure to discard any seeds.
- Step 6 Add apple cider vinegar and olive oil to the lemon juice and mix well to make the dressing. Dress the salad immediately before serving and add salt to taste.
