Learn how to make some of Baraka's favorite dishes from her childhood in Iraq! You'll learn how to make a beautifully presented dish consisting of layers of lightly fried fish, fragrant turmeric rice, and caramelized onions. You'll also learn how to make a savory red lentil soup perfect for rainy days and a rich sauce with cucumber, dill, and garlic that compliments virtually any dish, whether Iraqi or not. Of course, no meal would be complete without dessert, so Baraka will be teaching you her family's recipe for Halava, a sweet and nutty dessert. Lunch at your house will never be the same!
